Lionel had three hidey hoes but his favorite was the crawl space beneath the abandoned duplex kitty corner from his parents apartment. On this freezing February night while perfecting his hibernating bear pose he heard his mother scream "Lionel!" followed by fifteen seconds of silence until "Lionel!" echoed the streets of Baltimore once again. This was a cycle of five and the screams were consistent in tenor. Hearing her voice warmed his heart yet nothing was sweeter than the fifth and final "Lionel!" which was followed by the sounds of a door slamming and a muffled: "Fucker."
