The Healing Dance

In celebration of International Dance Day. Music by Thomas Otten: “Close to Silence.”

I love dancing. It's the perfect blend of meditation and yoga. It's both gentle and rigorous. It keeps my mind and body in balance. I like to put my face in it too. You heads out there know what I mean. I ain't dancing unless my face is feeling it. And sometimes that face is just a smile. Sometimes my lips be puckered up and my butt is out and my head is all crooked and I am getting it. And then there are days when the dance is barely a whisper. Is he okay? And of course my dance partner would say, oh hell yes, he is healing himself right now.

That's just dance. I love it.
